Attendees from all fifty states, every Canadian province, and several foreign countries gather each October to celebrate live performances of America’s music. The Sun Valley Jazz & Music Festival was birthed out of a love and appreciation for jazz music by Tom & Barbara Hazzard and is held mid-October each year in Sun Valley, ID.

Crawfish/Catfish Festival

The Crawfish and Catfish Festival features the authentic tastes of Louisiana, Southern BBQ, Soul Foods and Asian/Cajun Fusion cuisine. Specialties offered include crawfish, catfish, alligator, lobster, frog legs, shrimp, oysters, gumbo, jambalaya, sausages, hot dogs, wings, garlic noodles, beignets, pralines and New for 2018 "The Seafood Grotto" with Craft Beers and Wine Bar.

You can enjoy live Cajun, Zydeco, Blues, Jazz, R & B and Funk on two stages. Other festival activities include cooking demos, dance lessons, crawfish races, a kid's zone, a vendor marketplace, Sportsman’s Paradise Outdoor Expo and Three New attractions for 2018 help us to set a record for the "Largest Second Line West of the Mississippi" along with our Big Easy Dance Party featuring David Hull spinning all the New Orleans artists you love to dance to with a special tribute to the late Great Fats Domino Plus for the 21+ the FunkTastic Mardi Gras on Bourbon St. hosting 3 awesome Funk Bands Saturday night 6-10PM

The Sugartown Festival is sponsored by the Crockett Chamber of Commerce and is celebrating its 7th year. It is held the third Sunday of July, this year July 19th from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
It is a great outdoor music festival and street fair. It is family friendly, has great arts and crafts, food, beer, wine and live entertainment. Stroll through a shady street, enjoying the food and wine, shopping the great arts and craft vendors while enjoying wonderful music, with two stages to choose from.

Mammoth Lakes Jazz by the Creek

The Southern Mono Historical Society will present the 3rd Annual Jazz by the Creek fundraising event at the Mammoth Museum/Hayden Cabin.  Music and food along the creek at one of the most magical locations in Mammoth on Sunday, July 8, 2018.   Performances by Tom Rigney & Flambeau, Gator Nation (formerly Gator Beat), Yve Evans Trio and Joe Gray Jr. Ensemble, with special guest Sheridon Stokes.

Jazz by the Creek will have Jazz music for your listening enjoyment, a Fine Food & Wine-Beer Tastings Event as well as dining options for purchase at local vendor booths.  This year Jazz by the Creek will take place from Noon until 10:00 p.m. in order to fit in all the fun!  Bring your dancing shoes!

This year's theme acknowledges the impact of the devastating fire storms of 2017 which will become another historical moment in Santa Rosa’s 150-year timeline. Award winning floats, marching groups, non-profit organizations, and school bands will fill the streets with themed entries as they honor Together We Rose and Santa Rosa's strength as a community
